Date:

PESHAWER (Web Desk) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Soheil Afridi strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar, during which three terrorists were killed while three FC personnel embraced martyrdom.

The Chief Minister visited Lady Reading Hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured.

Speaking to the media, he praised the bravery of the FC personnel, saying, “Our forces fought the terrorists with great courage. Our resolve will not weaken—we will continue this fight against terrorism.”

He added that further steps were being taken to strengthen security across the province. “We are procuring modern equipment, and CTD has already been provided with bulletproof vehicles,” he noted.

CM Afridi stated that terrorists had long sought to disrupt peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan.

“Their only aim is to destabilise the country. Those who harm Pakistan’s peace are enemies of the nation, and we will not allow them to succeed,” he said.

Later, the Chief Minister attended the funeral prayers of the FC martyrs at the Federal Constabulary Headquarters. He paid rich tribute to the fallen personnel, calling their sacrifices a national asset.

He reaffirmed that the provincial government stands firmly with the families of the martyrs.
“Their sacrifices strengthen our resolve to eliminate terrorism,” CM Afridi remarked.
