Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Sindh Police have blacklisted 40,000 vehicles in Karachi under the Safe City initiative, with enforcement action set to begin from July 1, officials said.
According to police authorities, the vehicles included in the blacklist are those that have been sold but not yet officially transferred to new owners.
Officials further stated that vehicles with incomplete ownership records or unpaid government dues have also been included in the list.
Police confirmed that the final list of blacklisted vehicles has been compiled, and such vehicles may now be impounded, while their owners could face fines under applicable laws.
Citizens have been advised to verify their vehicle status through the official police portal and ensure ownership transfers are completed before July 1 to avoid penalties.
