Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has rejected allegations describing Iran as a terrorist state, instead accusing its critics of committing acts of violence and destabilization.
Speaking during a visit to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, President Pezeshkian said Iran does not seek war or instability and has consistently supported dialogue and constructive engagement with other countries.
He said Iran had done nothing wrong and strongly condemned attacks on civilian infrastructure, including schools and hospitals, which he described as violations of international law and humanitarian principles.
The Iranian president further criticized strikes on maternity wards and medical facilities, calling them unacceptable and a breach of human values. He said those responsible for such actions had no moral authority to speak about human rights.
“They call us terrorists, but those who kill wherever and whenever they want are the real terrorists,” he said, adding that it was “shameful” for such actors to present themselves as defenders of human rights on the global stage.
Iran has repeatedly denied allegations of supporting terrorism, insisting its foreign policy is based on resistance, sovereignty, and diplomatic engagement.
