Iran Uses Infrared Tech to Down U.S. F-15 Jets, Evades Radar

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk:
Iran has reportedly used advanced infrared detection technology to shoot down U.S. F-15 fighter jets, according to American media reports. This system evades radar detection and cannot be jammed by U.S. electronic warfare measures.

U.S. media claim that despite billions spent on defense technology, the U.S. remains unable to counter Iran’s infrared detection capabilities. The latest incidents undermine assertions by President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Mark Esper, who repeatedly claimed that U.S. forces maintained full control of Iranian airspace.

CNN reported that Trump and Esper’s repeated statements about the absence of Iranian defense capability have proven inaccurate, as seven U.S. aircraft—including F-35s, F-15 Eagles, and E-3 reconnaissance planes—have been downed in Iranian airspace.

Following the crash of an F-15 in southern Iran, U.S. forces are conducting a search for a missing pilot, while Iran has announced a reward of approximately $66,100 for information leading to the pilot’s capture. Reports indicate one pilot was rescued, while another remains unaccounted for.

These developments signal a significant escalation in U.S.-Iran tensions, highlighting the region’s volatile security situation and raising global concerns about air superiority and military technology gaps.
