Zeinab Soleimani Denies US Claims on Arrested Women

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Zeinab Soleimani, daughter of the late Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani, has refuted claims by the U.S. State Department regarding two women reportedly arrested in the United States.

Speaking to Iranian media, Zeinab Soleimani confirmed that the detained women have no familial connection to her father’s family. Another daughter, Narges Soleimani, emphasized that no immediate family members of Qassem Soleimani have ever resided in the United States.

Previously, U.S. authorities had alleged that the arrested individuals were related to the late commander. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were Green Card holders living a luxurious life in the U.S. Both had their Green Cards revoked following the arrests.

Analysts note that the clarification from the Soleimani family aims to dispel misinformation and reduce diplomatic tensions arising from such claims.
