Iran Strikes Kuwait: 4 Missiles, 42 Drones Hit Energy Sites

Kuwait City, Kuwait – Web Desk: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense reported that Iran launched four missiles and 42 drones targeting Kuwait within the past 24 hours. The attacks reportedly focused on petroleum facilities and power plants, heightening regional tensions.

Separately, Qatar confirmed that on Wednesday it intercepted seven ballistic missiles and multiple drone attacks launched by Iran.

In response to the escalating situation, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar spoke via telephone with his Kuwaiti counterpart Jarah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah. Both officials expressed concern over ceasefire violations and discussed serious breaches in Lebanon, emphasizing the importance of full compliance with ceasefire agreements to maintain regional stability and long-term peace.

Kuwait welcomed the initial ceasefire and praised Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in facilitating dialogue and promoting stability in the Gulf region.
