Iran Speaker Praises Pakistan Role in Lebanon Ceasefire Mediation

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has praised Pakistan’s mediation efforts and the role of Field Marshal Asim Munir in facilitating the Lebanon ceasefire process, according to media reports.

Ghalibaf said the Lebanon ceasefire is the result of Hezbollah’s resilience and unity, adding that Iran will continue to view the agreement cautiously until full success is achieved.

He stated that Iran will remain committed to the process and will not withdraw from its position until the objectives are fully realized, emphasizing continued support for what he described as a “carefully monitored” development.

The Iranian speaker also thanked Pakistan for its diplomatic efforts in helping facilitate the ceasefire arrangement and acknowledged the contribution of Field Marshal Asim Munir in regional mediation efforts.

He further reiterated that Iran remains firm in its stance and will continue to uphold its commitments without compromise.

The remarks come amid ongoing regional diplomatic efforts involving multiple stakeholders aimed at reducing tensions in the Middle East.
