Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has confirmed a face-to-face meeting with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, marking what state media described as the first publicly acknowledged meeting between the two since his reported appointment in March.
According to Iranian state media, the meeting lasted approximately two and a half hours and focused on national governance and state affairs. President Pezeshkian described the interaction as “friendly, confident, and humble,” adding that the discussion atmosphere reflected mutual trust and alignment.
He further stated that Mojtaba Khamenei appeared “determined and active,” and that his communication style helped foster direct dialogue and coordination between leadership structures.
The announcement comes amid ongoing speculation regarding the Supreme Leader’s health and public visibility. Since reports of his appointment in March, no official video or photograph of Mojtaba Khamenei has been released, and his public appearances remain unconfirmed.
Earlier, conflicting reports circulated regarding his condition, including claims of injuries following alleged regional incidents. Iranian officials have stated that he is recovering and continues to oversee state matters, though appearances remain limited.
Some reports have also suggested restricted access to senior officials, with heightened security measures reportedly enforced around the leadership circle by senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
