Iran Offers US Investment in Oil Sector Amid Nuclear Talks

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran has offered the United States the opportunity to invest in its oil industry during ongoing nuclear negotiations, according to foreign news agencies.

An Iranian official stated that the proposed economic package allows the US to participate as an investment partner, but Iran will retain full control over its oil and mineral resources. The official emphasized that American companies would operate solely as contractors in Iranian oil and gas fields, without assuming ownership rights.

The official further indicated that, in exchange for peaceful nuclear enrichment, Iran may consider forming a regional enrichment consortium, reflecting Tehran’s willingness to explore limited collaboration while safeguarding its sovereignty.

The next round of Iran-US nuclear talks is expected soon, as both sides continue discussions on balancing economic incentives with strategic control over energy resources.
