Iran Judiciary Rejects Trump Claim on Women Executions

Date:

TEHRAN, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s judiciary has rejected claims made by President Donald Trump regarding eight women allegedly sentenced to death in the country, calling the statement false and misleading.

Iranian state media, citing judicial authorities, said the individuals referenced in Trump’s remarks were never issued death sentences.

According to the report, Iranian officials accused Trump of spreading misinformation, stating that “empty claims” were being used to create false narratives of political success.

Iranian media further said Trump repeated the allegation on multiple occasions, including claims that Iran had cancelled executions following his intervention.

Officials dismissed the assertions, saying they had no basis in fact and were part of a broader pattern of inaccurate statements.

The controversy comes amid heightened political tensions between Tehran and Washington, where both sides have frequently exchanged accusations over human rights, sanctions, and diplomatic negotiations.

Iranian authorities maintained that judicial proceedings in the country are conducted independently and rejected any external political influence over court decisions.
