Framework for negotiations progresses despite war rhetoric in Middle East
Tehran, Iran | Web Desk: Iran has confirmed that negotiations with the United States are progressing in a positive direction despite rising tensions in the Middle East. Ali Larijani, advisor to the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, stated on social media that frameworks for dialogue are being actively developed, contrary to the ongoing war rhetoric.
Larijani emphasized that structural arrangements for the negotiation process continue to advance, signaling a diplomatic track amid heightened military posturing.
The announcement comes as the US deploys naval forces to the Middle East, with President warning that warships are rapidly heading toward Iranian waters. In response, Iran has issued stern warnings of severe consequences for any aggression, while the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced military exercises in the Strait of Hormuz.
This development underscores a dual approach of diplomatic engagement and military preparedness amid escalating US-Iran tensions, keeping the region on high alert.
