Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated strikes targeting US military assets and strategic locations across the Gulf region, amid escalating tensions following recent US and Israeli operations.
In an official statement, the IRGC said it had targeted US Patriot missile defense systems and rocket batteries in Bahrain during a joint operation involving its aerospace and naval forces. The strikes were reportedly part of the latest phase of “Operation Va’dah-e-Haq 4,” described as a multi-layered military campaign.
The statement further claimed that US High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) batteries in Kuwait and military facilities in other regional countries were also hit using advanced missile systems, including Khaybar Shekan, Qadr, and Haj Qasem missiles.
Iran also alleged that multiple strategic locations inside Israel were targeted using multi-warhead missiles, although independent verification of these claims remains unavailable.
Additionally, the IRGC claimed it struck a command and training center in the United Arab Emirates used by senior US military personnel, as well as HIMARS launcher units. It also alleged an attack on facilities linked to US technology company Oracle in the UAE.
Separately, Iranian officials said a commercial vessel associated with Israel was targeted near Khalifa bin Salman Port in Bahrain during a naval operation.
The developments come amid heightened regional instability following military actions initiated on February 28 by the United States and Israel. Iran has previously claimed it carried out retaliatory strikes on US bases across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait, asserting damage to radar systems and missile defense infrastructure.
US officials have not fully confirmed the extent of the alleged damage, and independent verification of several claims remains pending.
