Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for a series of large-scale attacks targeting U.S. pilots and fighter aircraft crews in Saudi Arabia.
Brigadier General Seyed Majid Mousavi stated that missile and drone strikes hit residential facilities housing approximately 200 American pilots and support staff in the Al-Kharj region, the same area where a U.S. AWACS aircraft was previously destroyed. The strikes reportedly damaged multiple other U.S. military aircraft stationed in the region.
The IRGC Navy also claimed four separate attacks on naval vessels, military meetings, radar systems, and drone defense installations in the Gulf region.
Additional claims include a drone strike targeting U.S. Marines in a UAE coastal meeting, attacks on the Fifth Fleet’s Hawk anti-drone system near Bahrain’s Manama Airport, and the destruction of two early-warning radar systems at the U.S. Ahmed Al-Jaber military base in Kuwait.
In a separate operation named “Waad-e-Sadiq 4, 88th Wave,” Iran reported hitting the Israeli container ship Express Hafong with missiles.
The IRGC further warned that U.S.-based tech companies in the region may now become targets, citing their alleged involvement in identifying assassination targets in Iran through artificial intelligence and internet technologies.
This development comes as U.S. President Donald Trump has announced plans to withdraw from the Iran conflict within the next two to three weeks, citing achieved strategic objectives in the region.
