ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry has decided to purchase 20 Vigo vehicles for the Islamabad police and administration.
According to sources, 10 vehicles will be given to the police and 10 to the administration.
The Vigo vehicles will be handed over to all eight Assistant Commissioners of Islamabad and SPs posted in the Operation Division, while the Additional Deputy Commissioner General, SSP Operations, SSP Investigation, SSP Security and CTO will also use these vehicles while SP Dolphin will also be provided with Vigo vehicles.
The spokesperson of the Interior Ministry said that the officers were facing difficulties during operations in the cars, so the purpose of providing them with Vigo vehicles is to facilitate them in operations, which will be handed over to them by next month.
