Hana Khan praises the courage of Iranian women and citizens amid violent demonstrations and rising political unrest.
Indian Muslim actress Hana Khan has spoken out on social media in support of the Iranian people, commending their bravery and resilience amid ongoing protests. On X, she highlighted decades of oppression, lack of basic freedoms, and gender inequality in Iran, calling the current uprising a “true revolution.” Khan emphasized that the role of the West or the U.S. is irrelevant; the focus should remain on the Iranian people and their fight for freedom.
She specifically lauded Iranian women for their courage, warning that the situation could escalate to genocide if unchecked. Meanwhile, Iran faces escalating violence, with over 500 reported deaths during protests initially sparked by rising living costs. The unrest has also prompted international attention, including U.S. President Donald Trump’s threats of harsh sanctions and a 25% tariff on countries trading with Iran.
