Gold Prices Rise Again Globally, Pakistan Rates Jump Sharply

Date:

Karachi, Pakistan – Staff Reporter: Gold prices rebounded in both global and local markets on Tuesday after a two-day decline, with silver also recording notable gains.

In the international bullion market, gold prices rose by $46 per ounce, reaching $4,776 per ounce, reflecting renewed demand and market volatility.

Following global trends, local markets in Pakistan also witnessed a sharp increase. The price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs4,600 per tola, taking it to Rs499,962 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,943, settling at Rs429,636.

Silver prices also moved higher in the domestic market. The per tola rate rose by Rs326 to Rs8,260, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs279 to Rs7,081.

Market analysts attribute the upward trend to fluctuations in international bullion markets and shifting investor sentiment after recent declines earlier in the week.

Despite the recent surge, experts note that gold prices remain highly sensitive to global economic uncertainty and geopolitical developments, which continue to influence precious metal markets.
