Finance Minister Aurangzeb: ‘No Stock Market in the World Offers Profits Like Pakistan’

KARACHI – Web Desk: Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has stated that no stock exchange market in the world offers profits like Pakistan, while addressing a ceremony at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) via video link.

Aurangzeb noted that the budget has been presented and is under discussion in Parliament, adding that it has indicated the correct direction for sustainable economic growth, with positive feedback received. He expressed expectations of further economic improvement in the upcoming fiscal year, highlighting that investor confidence is resonating in the PSX hall.

The Finance Minister said that CPEC has become B2B during the Prime Minister’s visit to China, with B2B relations between Pakistan and China improving day by day. He noted that Pakistan’s role in the US-Iran ceasefire is a matter of pride, with the leadership of both countries trusting the Prime Minister and Field Marshal. The US-Iran ceasefire agreement is expected to be signed on Friday, following Pakistan’s three months of efforts.

PSX CEO Farrukh Sabzvari praised the positive budget, which includes the elimination of super tax and several other relief measures. He noted that US President Trump’s statement “let the oil flow” has brought changes in global markets. Service Long March CEO Omar Saeed stated that very few companies in Pakistan combine family values and professional expertise as successfully as Service Group, whose combined market cap has exceeded $1 billion.
