Casualties reported in Iran blasts amid US-Israel military threats
Bandar Abbas & Ahvaz, Iran – Web Desk: Two consecutive explosions rocked Iran’s strategic port city of Bandar Abbas and the southwestern city of Ahvaz, causing multiple casualties and property damage. In Bandar Abbas, an 8-story residential building partially collapsed, killing at least one person and damaging several vehicles and shops. Iranian authorities are investigating the cause of the blast.
In Ahvaz, a separate explosion killed four and injured 14. Initial assessments suggest the incident may have been accidental. The blasts occurred amid heightened tensions as the United States and Israel issued threats of military action over Iran’s nuclear program.
Israeli officials denied any involvement in the Iran explosions, emphasizing readiness to respond defensively if needed. The U.S. has yet to comment officially, though former President Trump recently warned Iran of a strict deadline. Iranian authorities have not attributed the incidents to any foreign nation.
