Pakistan’s spinners shine as Usman Khan praises Abrar; Bartlett admits Australia outclassed
Lahore, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed impressed wicketkeeper-batter Usman Khan, who called him the “toughest bowler” to face. Speaking after Pakistan’s commanding 2nd T20I win over Australia at Gaddafi Stadium, Khan emphasized team planning and praised fellow bowler Usman Tariq, noting only umpires can comment on his action.
Australian fast bowler Xavier Bartlett admitted that Pakistan outclassed Australia with both batting and bowling, highlighting the team’s dominance in the powerplay and praising Pakistan’s spinners, including Shadab Khan. Bartlett added that the unique conditions in Pakistan posed challenges for the visitors and offered key lessons ahead of the World Cup.
Pakistan made three changes to their playing XI, bringing in Faheem Ashraf, Naseem Shah, and Usman Tariq, while Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Afridi, and Salman Mirza were left out. The series decider will be played tomorrow.
