BCB Alleges ICC’s Unfair Scheduling in U19 World Cup

Bangladesh Cricket Board claims U19 team bore travel costs due to ICC’s sudden schedule changes.

Dhaka, Bangladesh – Web Desk: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has raised serious concerns over the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) handling of the U19 World Cup schedule. BCB’s Game Development Coordinator Habib Al-Bashar revealed that the Bangladeshi squad had to travel on personal expenses due to ICC’s last-minute changes, which impacted the team’s performance. Originally scheduled for two warm-up matches in Masongo, the team was forced to play in two separate venues after ICC rescheduled the games. BCB requested match relocations to ease travel burdens, but their appeal was ignored. This incident has sparked criticism over fairness and logistical planning in ICC tournaments.
