Iran Claims Drone Strikes on US Bases in Jordan and Bahrain

Date:

Iran’s military has claimed it carried out drone strikes against US military bases in Jordan and Bahrain, describing the attacks as part of “Operation Saeqah” in response to recent US military actions.

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: According to a statement issued by the Iranian military’s public relations department, drones targeted the Al Azraq Air Base in Jordan during the early hours of Wednesday. The military claimed the strikes hit residential facilities used by US personnel as well as logistics and equipment warehouses.

The statement further alleged that Iranian drones later struck the Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain, targeting large storage facilities, maintenance sheds and aircraft repair hangars.

Iran said the attacks were carried out in retaliation for recent US operations against Iranian interests. However, the statement did not provide evidence to support the claims.
