PM Shehbaz Sharif in Saudi Arabia for Key Talks on Region

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – Web Desk: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Jeddah on an official visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation, as part of Islamabad’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to promote regional peace and stability.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the premier was received at the airport by Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, along with Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq.

During his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations, enhancing economic cooperation, and reviewing the evolving regional situation.

The visit comes at a time of heightened diplomatic activity by Pakistan, as it engages regional and global partners to support peace initiatives and reduce tensions across the Middle East.
