Iran Clears Debris From Underground Missile Base Tunnels

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran has begun clearing debris from tunnels leading to its underground missile bases during an ongoing ceasefire period, according to images released by CNN.

The images show heavy machinery being used to remove rubble from blocked tunnel entrances, with debris being transported to nearby dump trucks. The operation appears aimed at restoring access to key missile facilities that were impacted during recent hostilities.

Earlier investigations by CNN indicated that the United States and Israel had targeted the entrances of these underground bases in an effort to prevent missile launchers from exiting, firing, or returning for reloading.

U.S. media, citing intelligence sources, reported that despite weeks of conflict, nearly half of Iran’s missile launchers remain intact. However, several of them were rendered inaccessible after strikes caused tunnel entrances to collapse or become buried under debris.

The latest developments highlight ongoing military preparedness in the region, even as diplomatic efforts continue to maintain a fragile ceasefire.
