The report said negotiations between American and Iranian officials saw significant progress on Tuesday, bringing both sides nearer to a potential agreement that could pave the way for ending hostilities.
According to Axios, two U.S. officials confirmed that meaningful advances were made during the latest round of talks. However, they cautioned that key differences remain, and a final deal is not yet guaranteed.
Officials noted that the negotiating team under U.S. President Donald Trump has been actively engaged in ongoing discussions, including the exchange of draft proposals with Iranian counterparts.
