Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a 45-minute phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss the recent ceasefire and regional developments.

In an official statement, the Prime Minister praised the Iranian leadership’s diplomacy and expressed gratitude for their readiness to engage in negotiations with the United States in Islamabad. He also conveyed a personal message to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.

President Pezeshkian thanked PM Sharif and the Pakistani leadership for facilitating the two-week ceasefire and extended best wishes to the people of Pakistan. He confirmed that an Iranian delegation would soon arrive in Islamabad for further talks, marking a significant step toward regional stability.
