Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Tehran is prepared to end the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel, provided they offer robust guarantees that no future attacks will be launched against Iran.
According to Iranian media, President Pezeshkian conveyed this position during a phone conversation with European Council President António Costa. He emphasized that the only way to stabilize the situation caused by U.S. and Israeli strikes is for the aggressors to cease their hostile activities. “At no stage have we initiated tension or war,” he said. “If the necessary conditions are met, especially guarantees to prevent future attacks, we are ready to end this conflict.”
The Iranian leader reiterated that Tehran respects the sovereignty of neighboring countries and never seeks to harm them. However, he added that attacks on U.S. bases within those countries remain the only available option in response to continuing threats. Pezeshkian criticized these nations for failing to prevent their territories from being used for operations against Iran.
President Pezeshkian also sharply criticized the European Union, stating that it has failed to condemn ongoing U.S. and Israeli aggression, which he described as a severe violation of international law. He urged the EU to align its policies with international law and engage constructively with all parties instead of adopting a destructive stance toward Iran.
