Lahore, Pakistan – Web Desk: A Lahore court has ruled in favor of singer Ali Zafar in the long-standing defamation case against actress Meesha Shafi, awarding him Rs50 million in damages.

The legal dispute began when Meesha Shafi accused Ali Zafar of harassment. In response, Zafar filed a defamation lawsuit, asserting that the allegations had harmed his reputation. The session court has now upheld Zafar’s claims, confirming his position in the case.

Earlier, the Lahore High Court had also issued significant remarks, maintaining a ban on Meesha Shafi making public statements on social media regarding the case. The verdict has sparked renewed attention on social media, generating widespread discussion and mixed reactions among the public and fans of both celebrities.
