Trump May Seek Arab Support to Fund Potential War, White House Says

Date:

Washington, USA – Web Desk: White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said during a press briefing that President Donald Trump could ask Arab nations to contribute financially to the costs of a potential war.

Leavitt emphasized that the U.S. does not support Iran’s imposition of tolls on the Strait of Hormuz and highlighted ongoing diplomatic discussions regarding the situation.

She further explained that there is a distinction between private communications with Iran and public statements. Information provided by Iran in private discussions will be carefully verified before any decisions or public announcements are made.

Analysts note that the remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Gulf region, where the Strait of Hormuz is a critical maritime chokepoint for global oil shipments.
