Canada Will Not Participate in Iran Conflict: PM Mark Carney

In a statement, Carney said Canada’s position on the Iran situation is clear: the country will refrain from any involvement in hostilities. He emphasized that Canada supports initiatives aimed at preventing the proliferation of Iran’s nuclear program and curbing terrorism exports.

Carney also highlighted that the Group of Seven (G7) nations will seek a unified approach to reduce tensions in Iran, underscoring diplomatic efforts to maintain stability in the region.

Canada’s announcement comes amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, as global powers weigh options for containment and regional security.
