Satellite Firm Restricts Middle East Images After US Losses

Date:

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – Web Desk : A satellite imaging company has temporarily restricted the immediate release of satellite images from the Middle East following the circulation of images reportedly showing damage to U.S. military assets during recent Iranian attacks.

According to reports, the decision was made after satellite photos revealing alleged U.S. losses began appearing online after Iranian strikes in the region.

Images reportedly showed missile defense radar systems associated with the THAAD targeted in several Middle Eastern countries, including Jordan, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

Following the publication of these images, the satellite company imposed an immediate restriction on the rapid release of imagery from the region.

However, the company clarified that access to the imagery would continue to be available to the United States Armed Forces and U.S. military intelligence agencies.

Analysts say the move highlights the growing sensitivity around satellite intelligence during the ongoing regional conflict, where commercial imagery has increasingly played a role in revealing battlefield developments.
