19 countries join 24 teams in military drills to boost global defense cooperation
Peshawar, Pakistan – Web Desk: The 9th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit 2026 officially kicked off at the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC), Peshawar. The high-profile exercise aims to strengthen military-to-military cooperation among friendly nations.
The opening ceremony marked the start of an intense 60-hour patrolling exercise with participation from 19 allied countries, totaling 24 international teams and military observer groups. Participating nations include Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, Nepal, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Turkey, USA, Uzbekistan, while Indonesia, Myanmar, and Thailand attended as observers.
Pakistan Army, Navy, and Air Force teams are actively participating to showcase professionalism, strategic skills, and teamwork under near-real operational conditions. The exercise is designed to enhance endurance, rapid decision-making, and inter-force collaboration while sharing modern strategies and best practices.
