Opposition alliance calls for neutral foreign policy, condemns war & US influence in region
Lahore, Web Desk: Pakistan’s opposition alliance, Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan, has urged the government to immediately withdraw from the so-called “Board of Gaza.” In a statement released during a press conference, the alliance criticized the regional push for war and division, linking it to U.S. strategies to contain China.
The statement emphasized that Pakistan should support the Global South bloc advocating for Palestinian freedom and justice. It called for a foreign policy based on mutual respect, cooperation, and neutrality, rejecting external interference in sovereign nations’ internal affairs.
The alliance also expressed solidarity with nations including Venezuela, Cuba, and Colombia, opposing U.S. aggression and proxy influence in regional conflicts. It urged a non-aligned stance to strengthen peace in South Asia and the Middle East.
