According to Chinese state media, Xi emphasized the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open for global shipping, calling it vital not only for regional countries but also for the stability of the global economy.
The Chinese leader reiterated Beijing’s call for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire and an end to all military operations in the region. He said such measures are essential to de-escalate tensions and restore stability.
