Historic rivalry heats up as Pakistan and India gear up for high-stakes T20 World Cup face-off.
Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Cricket fans are in for a thrilling encounter as traditional rivals Pakistan and India are scheduled to face off on 15 February in the ICC T20 World Cup. Pakistan, part of Group A, has decided to participate in the tournament starting 7 February, but the national team will skip the India match as a protest.
Meanwhile, Pakistan and India will also meet on the same day in Bangkok, Thailand, for the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars group match. Pakistan’s training camp at Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre has been ongoing, with players refining their skills through practice matches.
The women’s A team will depart for Thailand on 10 February to compete in the 8-team tournament. Group A features India, UAE, Nepal, and Pakistan, while Group B includes Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and host Thailand. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals on 20 February, with the final set for 22 February.
