Khalid Nisar slams Asma Bukhari over open manhole incident; moral courage defended

Lahore, Pakistan – Web Desk: During a heated Punjab Assembly session, Member Khalid Nisar labeled Information Minister Azma Bukhari “false” over her statements regarding a tragic incident where a mother and daughter fell into an open manhole. Nisar demanded a public apology in the Assembly, calling her “Asma False” instead of Asma Bukhari.

Chairperson Shaukat Raja intervened, halting further remarks and emphasizing respect for the minister. Parliamentary Secretary Khalid Ranjha defended Bukhari, highlighting her moral courage in publicly apologizing to the victims’ families and the nation.
