Shahbaz Sharif emphasizes joint efforts for peace, anti-terror measures & provincial progress

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif held a high-level meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister (CM) Sohail Afridi to discuss the province’s security situation, development initiatives, and public welfare programs.

The PM stressed the need for enhanced provincial efforts to maintain law and order and strengthen anti-terrorism agencies. He emphasized federal-provincial collaboration to ensure the safety, prosperity, and development of KP’s citizens.

Shahbaz Sharif assured support for provincial projects in infrastructure, education, health, and employment. Both leaders discussed national unity, effective governance, and upcoming concerns including potential protests and security operations in Wadi Tirah.

Officials present included Amir Muqam, Rana Sanaullah, and KP Finance Advisor Mazammil Aslam. The meeting reinforced the federal government’s commitment to a collaborative approach for Pakistan’s peace, stability, and inclusive development.
