Gold price skyrockets in Pakistan

KARACHI (Web Desk)-The price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs5,900 on Tuesday as the per-tola rate rose to Rs435,762, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs5,065, reaching Rs373,595, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs4,901 to Rs342,474.

In the international market, gold climbed by $59, with the global price recorded at $4,134.

Meanwhile, silver prices also witnessed an upward trend as the per tola rate of 24-karat silver rose by Rs144 to Rs5,353, and the 10-gram price increased by Rs124 to Rs4,589.

International silver rose by $1.44, reaching $50.91, the association added.
