GAZA: Israeli forces have once again violated the fragile Gaza ceasefire agreement, killing three Palestinians within the last 24 hours, according to Arab media reports. The Israeli military targeted multiple locations across the Gaza Strip, resulting in fatalities and escalating tensions in the region.
Gaza’s Civil Defense Agency reported that rescue teams recovered two bodies from the rubble of a destroyed building in western Gaza. Search and recovery operations continue in Khan Younis and other affected areas.
Since the ceasefire was signed, at least 236 Palestinians have lost their lives while over 600 have been injured due to Israeli forces’ ongoing strikes and incursions. More broadly, since the start of Israel’s military campaign after the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack, the total death toll in Gaza has reached 68,858, with 170,664 people wounded.
Meanwhile, in the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces have carried out house-to-house raids, arresting 21 Palestinians including children. Additionally, Israel violated the Lebanon ceasefire by launching a drone strike on a vehicle in southern Lebanon, killing four people.
Humanitarian organizations have condemned the repeated ceasefire breaches and continue to urge the international community to hold Israel accountable for the escalating civilian casualties and violations.
Despite the agreement largely halting the two-year conflict, Israeli military actions have persisted, including shootings, shellings, arrests, and demolitions, causing significant civilian suffering. Hamas continues to deny breaching the truce and calls for adherence to the ceasefire terms.
The ongoing violence underlines the fragile nature of the ceasefire and the urgent need for sustained international efforts to ensure peace and humanitarian relief in Gaza and the surrounding regions.
