Rawalpindi, Pakistan — Web Desk: Pakistan’s security forces killed 32 terrorists during multiple intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan over a 24-hour period, the military’s media wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were conducted as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate militant networks and improve security in areas affected by terrorism.

The ISPR said security forces carried out operations in different locations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan following intelligence reports about the presence of militants. During these actions, a number of terrorists were neutralised while weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered.

The military’s media wing stated that the operations targeted militant groups involved in hostile activities against Pakistan’s security and civilians. However, further details regarding the identities of those killed were not immediately disclosed.

Pakistan’s security forces have continued intelligence-based operations across the country as part of counterterrorism efforts. Authorities have repeatedly stated that such operations are aimed at preventing militant attacks and maintaining law and order.

Balochistan and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have witnessed militant activity in recent years, with security forces conducting frequent operations against armed groups operating in the regions.

The ISPR said the security forces remain committed to defeating terrorism and will continue operations based on intelligence information to protect citizens.

The latest operations come amid continued efforts by Pakistani authorities to strengthen counterterrorism measures and address security challenges in sensitive areas.
