When will Ramazan begin in Pakistan?

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Meteorological Department has released an important forecast regarding the beginning of Ramadan 1447 Hijri.

According to the Met Office, there is a strong possibility that the Ramazan moon will be sighted in Pakistan on February 18, while the first fast is expected on February 19.

The department said that the Ramazan crescent will be born on February 17 at 5:01 pm. By February 18, the moon’s age in Karachi will be around 26 hours, making it favorable for sighting.

The Met Office further stated that sunset in Karachi will be at 6:25 pm, while moonset will occur at 7:24 pm, improving the chances of moon sighting in the city.
