Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk (May 16, 2026): Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov, according to a statement released by Pakistan’s Foreign Office.
During the call, the two leaders discussed Pakistan-Uzbekistan bilateral relations, matters of mutual interest including multilateral issues, and the overall regional situation.
Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and mediatory role for regional peace and stability. Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact in the future.
