US Report Warns Gulf Energy Facilities at Risk in Iran War

Date:

Washington, United States – Web Desk: A US newspaper report has warned that Gulf energy infrastructure could face severe attacks if conflict between Iran and the United States resumes.

According to the report, tensions between Iran and the US remain unstable despite brief signs of de-escalation. US President Donald Trump recently threatened renewed military action against Iran, though he later said that potential strikes were paused due to ongoing diplomatic efforts.

The report states that Iran is preparing for the possibility of renewed conflict and has signaled that any attack would come at a heavy regional and global economic cost.

It added that during an earlier phase of conflict this year, Iran prepared for a prolonged confrontation lasting several months, while limiting some missile activity to preserve capacity for sustained operations.

Military analysts cited in the report suggest that any renewed war could be short but extremely intense, with Iran potentially targeting energy infrastructure across the region, including oil fields, refineries, and ports in Gulf states.

The report further warns that Iran could launch dozens or even hundreds of missiles daily in the event of escalation, significantly increasing regional instability.

It also highlights the possibility of strategic pressure in key maritime routes, including the Bab al-Mandab Strait near the Red Sea, an area close to Houthi-controlled regions in Yemen.
