WASHINGTON – Web Desk: The United States has offered Iran the return of $25 billion in frozen assets and permission for 3.67% uranium enrichment, according to Iranian political analyst Ali Golhaki.
In a statement on X, Golhaki claimed that the US has presented a new proposal to Iran, which includes releasing $25 billion in frozen assets, allowing 3.67% uranium enrichment, and facilitating Iranian oil sales for a limited period. Golhaki wrote that the US wants an agreement on all points — including ending the war, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, easing sanctions, and nuclear-related measures — simultaneously.
Iran, however, demands that these measures be implemented and verified within 30 days before nuclear negotiations proceed. Iran has confirmed receiving new US proposals through Pakistan. Responding to President Donald Trump’s recent statement, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei stated that threats do not affect policies and that US officials must prove their seriousness. The restoration of frozen funds and the end of the US blockade remain clear demands.
