Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has praised Pakistan for its “humanitarian and goodwill efforts” in securing the release of Iranian sailors.
In a statement, the Iranian envoy said that the return of 20 Iranian sailors was made possible through diplomatic efforts, following their transfer to Islamabad from Singapore before being repatriated to Iran.
He expressed deep gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and relevant Pakistani institutions for their “tireless efforts” in facilitating the sailors’ safe return.
The development has been described as a positive example of cooperation between the two neighbouring countries, highlighting ongoing diplomatic engagement and humanitarian coordination.
