US Issues New Security Alert for Pakistan After Islamabad Blast

Date:

Islamabad, Pakistan — Web Desk: Following the devastating suicide bombing in Islamabad, the U.S. Department of State has issued a new security advisory for American citizens in Pakistan.

The advisory urges U.S. nationals to avoid public gatherings and crowded areas and to review personal security plans. Travelers are advised to stay updated through local media and be prepared for any emergency situations.

The alert comes after a Friday prayer suicide attack in Tarlai Kalan, near Islamabad, which killed 33 people and injured over 150 others. Pakistani security forces have since tightened safety measures across the capital and surrounding areas.
