Lahore, Pakistan — Web Desk: A tragic incident occurred in Shahdara, Lahore, as 10-year-old Ammar fell from a rooftop while trying to retrieve a kite, dying instantly. The accident took place near Barah Dari Road, raising safety concerns during kite flying festivities.

In a separate incident in Karachi’s Defence area, a young boy, Zain, was injured after a kite string (dor) became entangled around his neck while riding a bicycle. He received immediate medical attention and is now reported to be out of danger.

Authorities urge parents and children to take precautions during kite flying, especially on rooftops and near traffic, to prevent similar accidents. This underscores the growing need for public awareness on kite flying safety in Pakistan.
