US Businessman Breaks First Fast at Grand Mosque After Islam

Makkah, Saudi Arabia – Web Desk: American billionaire businessman and CEO of Red Sea Development Company, John Pagano, shared a video of his first Ramadan fast-breaking experience at the Grand Mosque in Makkah after embracing Islam, which quickly went viral on social media.

Pagano, who converted to Islam in October 2025 and was later granted honorary Saudi citizenship, posted the video on X (formerly Twitter), describing the moment as a profound spiritual experience.

In the footage, he is seen wearing traditional Saudi attire, including a white kandura and keffiyeh, as he enters the Grand Mosque with visible reverence. The Kaaba can be seen in front of him as he approaches with emotion and excitement, accompanied by security and administrative staff guiding him through the holy site.

In his message, Pagano extended Ramadan greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the people of Saudi Arabia. He also prayed for peace, prosperity, and blessings for the kingdom during the holy month.

Pagano’s company, Red Sea Development Company, plays a key role in Saudi Arabia’s mega tourism and infrastructure projects, making him a prominent figure in the country’s Vision 2030 initiatives.
