(Web Desk) – The United States Department of State has advised American citizens to immediately depart 14 countries across the Middle East due to escalating security risks and regional instability.
In a travel advisory issued late Monday, the State Department urged US nationals in Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel — including the West Bank and Gaza — Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen to leave using available commercial or private means.
The advisory cited heightened threats, including the risk of missile and drone attacks, and warned that the security situation could deteriorate rapidly without notice. Officials urged Americans to avoid military facilities and sensitive locations.
Separately, the government of Canada instructed its citizens to leave Dubai immediately, advising against waiting for special evacuation flights. Canadian authorities recommended that nationals travel by land to Saudi Arabia or Oman if necessary.
The developments come amid mounting tensions in the Middle East, with regional security concerns escalating following recent military exchanges and diplomatic strains. Governments across North America are reassessing travel guidance as fears of wider instability grow.
