Trump Says Rising Oil Prices Benefit U.S., Iran Nuclear Risk Key Concern

Date:

Washington, U.S. – Web Desk: U.S. President Donald Trump has said that rising global oil prices primarily benefit the United States, as it is the world’s largest oil producer. Speaking on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that higher oil prices result in significant revenue gains for the American economy.

Trump emphasized that while oil price fluctuations are noteworthy, the “more critical issue” is preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He warned that Iran’s potential nuclear capability could threaten stability not only in the Middle East but globally.

He further stressed that curbing Iran’s nuclear program remains a top priority for U.S. policy due to the risks posed to regional security. Analysts note that ongoing tensions between Iran, the U.S., and Israel have contributed to a surge in global crude oil prices, with prices surpassing $100 per barrel.
