Trump Says Preparing for Islamabad Talks Is Premature

Date:

Washington, United States – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump has described discussions about potential face-to-face peace negotiations between Iran and the United States as “premature,” according to remarks reported in an interview with an American newspaper.

Trump also said that any preparation for talks in Islamabad should not be considered at this stage, dismissing speculation regarding possible diplomatic engagement hosted in the Pakistani capital.

The statement comes amid ongoing international debate over indirect communication channels between Tehran and Washington, as global powers continue to monitor regional tensions and diplomatic signals closely.

No official confirmation has been issued by either Iran or the United States regarding direct negotiations in Islamabad.
